Amgen seeks a Financial Planning & Business Analysis Senior Manager to lead financial strategy and planning for the France affiliate. This role involves managing a four-person finance team, overseeing forecasting and budgeting processes, and serving as strategic advisor to leadership on business performance and resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop team of four finance professionals, ensuring capability building and quality delivery
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes with accountability for accuracy
- Provide strategic financial insights to leadership team to inform business decisions
- Partner with Commercial, Medical, Access, HR and Supply Chain teams on performance and resource allocation
- Lead financial analysis, scenario modeling, and long-term strategic planning activities
Requirements
- Degree in Economics or Business Administration
- 8-10+ years in similar finance roles within international pharmaceutical environments
- 2-3 years management experience in international finance departments
- 2-3 years accounting experience and 5-6 years budgeting and planning experience
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of VAT, accounting, consolidation, and basic US GAAP
- Experience with financial planning tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP) preferred
