Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong critical thinking skills and willingness to speak up and share perspectives
• Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for learning and contributing ideas
• High level of organisation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
• Proficiency with MS Office and AI Copilot tools
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges
• Demonstrated growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
• Strong interest in Compliance and the financial industry
• Fluency in English

Education

• Currently pursuing a 2nd‑year Master’s degree in Compliance, Law, or a related field
• Candidates ideally graduation between July and December 2027
• Available for a six-month internship with a flexible start date

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Credit Strategy & Standards (CSS) Risk Management framework

• Assist with the identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation of risks and control issues across the CSS organization

• Maintain risk and control inventories, monitor key risk indicators, and support risk reporting activities

• Prepare materials, reports, and documentation for risk committees, governance forums, and senior stakeholder meetings

• Develop training, communications, and awareness materials to promote a strong risk culture within CSS

• Contribute to process automation, data quality improvements, and data visualization initiatives to enhance risk reporting and analytics

About the team
Moody's Compliance function operates globally to provide Compliance support, guidance and
implementation to its business lines. This role is part of the EU Compliance advisory team who is
responsible for implementing and administering the company's internal Compliance program across the EU region and closely interacts with EMEA Compliance team, located outside the EU, as well as central Compliance functions, primarily located in the UK and US
