French Language Teacher (English or Indian speaker) - Montpellier

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for a French Language Teacher who speaks Hindi or English to provide in-person customized lessons to a little girl in Montpellier.

Job Information:

Reference: 175474: Face-to-face French for 1 adult
Location: student's home [near Place des Patriotes]
• Availabilities: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 12 - 1 or 1 - 2 pm
• Not available physically from July 10 until Aug 15 in Montpellier
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2-3 times per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hr preferred, but if the teacher recommends 1.5 or 2 hours per session, then fine
• Current target language level: Beginner
• Native and other spoken languages: Hindi, English
• Student’s language needs and goals: Understand others, communicate basic things in day-to-day situations, aim for A2

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of experience
