Senior VAT Adviser - Luxembourg

Your role As a Senior VAT Adviser, you will join our VAT team in Luxembourg and be involved in a broad range of VAT advisory and VAT compliance assignments. Your responsibilities: VAT Advisory Provide VAT advice on Luxembourg and EU VAT matters for a diversified client base Draft VAT memorandum, technical notes and written advice Participate in VAT due diligences (buy-side and sell-side) Assist clients in the context of VAT audits and controls performed by the Luxembourg VAT Authorities Analyse VAT risks and develop structured, well-justified and pragmatic solutions VAT Compliance Prepare and review complex Luxembourg VAT returns and related filings Ensure the technical robustness and consistency of VAT positions adopted Support clients in improving and securing their VAT reporting processes Monitor VAT legislative and case law developments and assess their practical impact Team contribution Supervise and support junior team members in the preparation of more straightforward VAT returns Review their work, provide guidance and contribute to their technical development Actively participate in knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of the VAT practice Your profile: Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in VAT (compliance and advisory), ideally within a tax advisory or audit firm Education Master's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Tax Law Languages Fluent English is mandatory French and/or German is considered an asset Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of VAT topics Capacity to identify issues, structure solutions and support conclusions with sound technical reasoning Client-oriented mindset combined with a strong team spirit We offer: A human-sized, international and collaborative working environment Continuous professional...
