Pulmonologist

Job Title: Pulmonologist (Respiratory Medicine) – France

Location: Marseille, 10th Arrondissement, France (Approx. 10 km from the Old Port)

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time | Self-employed (Liberal Practice) or Salaried

Work Schedule: Minimum 2 days per week (Minimum 4-hour sessions)

Salary: Net Income: €15,000–€18,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient pulmonology consultations.
  

• Diagnose and manage respiratory diseases including:
  

  • Asthma
    
  • COPD
    
  • Respiratory allergies
    
  • Sleep apnea
    
  • Respiratory infections
    
• Interpret Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT/EFR) with dedicated nursing support.
  
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow-up.
  
• Prescribe medications and communicate diagnostic results.
  
• Educate patients on disease management and preventive care.
  
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines within the medical center.
  
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Doctolib and internal clinical systems.
  

Requirements

• MD/DM/DNB or equivalent Specialist qualification in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine.
  
• Specialist diploma must be eligible for recognition in the European Union.
  
• French language proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory for clinical communication).
  
• Strong independent outpatient clinical experience.
  
• Ability to work autonomously with sound clinical judgment.
  
• Willingness to work within the French healthcare system as either a self-employed or salaried physician.
  
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and digital healthcare platforms.
  
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
