Structural & Mooring Engineer / Designer

As part of the development of its activities in the Oil & Gas sector, our client is looking for a Structural & Mooring Engineer / Designer. You will contribute to the design and development of technical solutions related to structural and mooring systems, with the objective of delivering safe, reliable, cost-effective and high-quality solutions adapted to offshore project requirements. Depending on your level of experience, you may work on engineering and design activities, technical coordination, or progressively take ownership of an assigned scope of work. Key Responsibilities : Within the Engineering and Design teams, you will be responsible for:

• Performing engineering and design activities related to Structural & Mooring systems.
• Selecting and applying appropriate engineering methods and procedures.
• Developing technical solutions in compliance with project specifications, international codes, industry standards and applicable regulations.
• Performing technical analyses, studies and calculations.
• Contributing to concept development and detailed designactivities.
• Preparing engineering and design deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards and agreed deadlines.
• Using appropriate engineering design and calculation software.
• Ensuring proper management of technical interfaces between systems and disciplines.
• Collaborating with Engineers, Designers and other project stakeholders to ensure design consistency.
• Participating in the review of vendor documentation and providing technical comments.
• Coordinating with vendors, subcontractors and third parties when required.
• Identifying and resolving design issues and technical conflicts.
• Applying relevant lessons learned and assessing the impact of changes across project interfaces.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering and design methods.

For more experienced profiles, responsibilities may also include:

• Taking ownership of an assigned Scope of Work.
• Coordinating design activities and monitoring deliverables.
• Supporting and guiding less experienced Engineers and Designers.
• Acting as Lead Designer for an assigned scope.
• Coordinating with Package Engineers and other disciplines to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.

You have a degree in Engineering, Design, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering or a related technical discipline. We are open to different levels of experience, from early-career Engineers to experienced professionals.

• Junior / Early-career profiles: 0 to 5 years in any industry
• Experienced profiles: 5 to 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry

Experience in Oil & Gas industry, or Structural Engineering is highly valued. Technical Skills : You should have experience or knowledge in several of the following areas:
