About the Team

AI Ops Team is Pelico's internal engine for turning AI from a tool into a way of working.

We believe the next competitive edge won't come from hiring more people — it will come from giving every team agents that think, act, and learn alongside them.

AI Ops embeds this transformation into every function at Pelico — Sales, Ops, People, Finance, Customer, Engineering — building, deploying, and scaling AI agents through the AIgent Hub, our internal platform for agent creation and orchestration.

We move fast, but never at the expense of quality, compliance, or cost control: our job is to make sure Pelico doesn't just use AI, but masters it.

What You'll Do

Product & Portfolio

• Own our AIgent Hub as a product — define its vision and roadmap and turn it into a product every Pelican relies on daily

• Run the agent portfolio like a product — decide what to build, buy, or kill, and know the tooling well enough to challenge the AI Ops tech lead

• Own AI compliance and cost — pick the right frameworks and models, keep quality, permissions, and spend under control as things scale

Team & Leadership

• Animate and steer our engineers contributing to the AIgent Hub — setting the technical ambition and holding the team to a roadmap that scales across the company

• Bring vision to an existing AI Ops team — leverage your expertise to guide their work and shape where they focus next

• Set high standards — stay ahead of AI developments and use that edge to set the team's direction

Adoption & Transformation

• Drive agent-first transformation across our teams: Ops, Sales, People, Finance, Customer teams, Engineering,..

• Lead adoption: make daily use the norm

• Set up self-service tools so non-technical Pelicans can build and own their own agents and suggest trainings

Business Impact

• Deep-dive into daily workflows to find where AI actually moves the needle for the business

• Define KPIs that prove ROI and guide build/buy/kill decisions on the agent portfolio, presenting business value clearly to the C-suite

• Represent AI at Pelico

About You

• You’re more than curious about where AI is going — you bring ideas and tools, not just execution

• You are curious to deep-dive into our teams daily workflows and find where AI actually moves the needle

• Strong communicator, comfortable working across functions — you can align different teams behind one agenda

• Solid grasp of the agentic landscape — orchestration, build-vs-buy — enough to prioritize and hold your own with a tech lead

• Hands-on with AI-assisted workflows — writing, research, coding

• Working knowledge of RAG, MCP, function calling, prompt-injection/security

• Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment
