As a Field Service Technician (M/F), you will be at the heart
of field operations, where you will perform maintenance, qualification, and troubleshooting of our equipment, in controlled areas as well as in ATEX or petrochemical environments. You will use the ValScope tool, ensure the updating of service records, participate in kick-off meetings, and provide first-level technical support to customers. Your role will require you to work shifts, operate at heights or in varying weather conditions, and travel frequently within France and abroad. Thanks to your customer service skills, adaptability, and technical expertise, you will ensure the successful completion of interventions and strengthen our customers' trust in Baker Hughes.

As a Field Service Technician (M/F), you will be responsible for:

 

 

• Perform maintenance, qualification and troubleshooting of Masoneilan equipment.
• Use the ValScope tool for equipment qualification and diagnosis.
• Working in controlled areas, in ATEX, petrochemical or nuclear environments.
• Performing work at height (crinolines, walkways, platforms, scaffolding).
• Working in varied outdoor conditions: heat, cold, humidity, sun.
• Use specific equipment: breathing apparatus, hoods, MURUROA suit, SCBA.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

 

 

 

• Applicants must hold at least a two-year post-secondary degree (Bac+2) in Technical, Mechanical, Electromechanical and/or Physical Measurements.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within industry
• Having a good understanding of control valves
• Having skills in mechanics and instrumentation
• To be autonomous, rigorous, organized and methodical
• Have at least a B2 level in English
• Having very good knowledge of Masoneilan products: valves, actuators, instrumentation, materials is a plus.
• Possess strong skills in mechanics, pneumatics and electricity and master control instrumentation and diagnostic tools.
• Being able to read general plans and section plans.
• Must be able to travel within France 90% of the time and occasionally internationally.
