As a key player in our globally expanding organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of privacy and data protection in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. /ppThis role may be based in Dublin, Madrid, Milan, or Paris. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAdvising on a wide range of data privacy and related issues across clinical research, commercial marketing, patient support, cybersecurity, and AI. /liliCollaborating with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate privacy risks in new initiatives and projects. /liliMonitoring current and emerging data privacy regulations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. /liliSupporting the implementation of privacy laws across Europe, including operationalizing GDPR requirements. /liliEducating teams on data protection obligations under GDPR and other applicable laws. /liliServing as the primary contact for data privacy authorities while coordinating with the business and Chief Privacy Officer. /liliManaging external counsel, consultants, and internal resources to ensure effective program execution. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliPossess strong expertise in GDPR and its application within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. /liliThrive in collaborative environments and can build strong relationships across all levels of an organization. /liliHave exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and can translate complex legal concepts into actionable business counsel. /liliDemonstrate a high level of business acumen and can effectively influence and drive change. /liliAre eager to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging field. /li /ulpbTo be considered /b, you must be admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with a minimum of 7-10 years of legal experience, including a minimum of 4 years in privacy-related roles. You must have a background in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related life sciences.
