Lead Umbilical Engineer (Oil & Gas)

About the opportunity
MOBEN&ROOSTER is currently looking for a Lead Umbilical Engineer to join the engineering team of one of our major international clients operating in the Oil & Gas industry.
This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale subsea developments, contributing to the design, procurement, manufacturing follow-up and offshore installation support of umbilical systems.
Your responsibilities
As Lead Umbilical Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical management of subsea umbilical packages throughout the project lifecycle, including:
Performing market and technology assessments.
Supporting FEED and proposal activities.
Defining technical requirements and evaluating suppliers.
Reviewing vendor documentation and engineering deliverables.
Monitoring manufacturing activities and qualification testing.
Supporting FATs and integration testing.
Providing engineering support for pre-commissioning and offshore installation.
Coordinating interfaces between Topside systems and Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project management.
Profile
We are looking for an experienced engineer with:
Minimum 10 years' experience in subsea umbilical engineering.
Strong knowledge of:
Static and dynamic umbilicals
Thermoplastic Umbilicals (TPU)
Steel Tube Umbilicals (STU)
EFL / HFL technologies
Power cables
Subsea control and command systems
Solid understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.
Professional working proficiency in English .
Nice to have
Experience with Flexcom (or equivalent) analysis.
Knowledge of other SURF products, particularly flexible pipes.
Location
Puteaux, France
Occasional onshore and offshore missions may be required depending on project needs.
Contract
12-month assignment
