VIE Shanghai - IT Business Analysis H/F

Role of the VIE

Within the AMT China Solutions team, the candidate will mainly contribute to design and setup the Alto workspace to be provided to clients (following client guidelines) for:

· Investment management: configure views for portfolio managers (portfolio analysis, order sending functions and reporting),

· Compliance management: set up pre-trade and post-trades controls,

· Risk management: prepare performance analysis and risk control workspace,

· Data management: help onboarding and control client data (funds, security characteristics and analytics).

This position is an opportunity to work with various business lines such as Investment, Trading, Operation and Risk and understand how an Asset Management company is operating. This position is also an opportunity to learn about finance and financial products.

Responsibilities of the VIE : depending on the needs during the onboarding phase, the candidate will have to take in charge tasks and support them from need expression to final delivery. This includes:

- Understand the client business need: expressed by the client himself or by an IT Business Analyst in Solutions team,

- Make sure the business need can be covered by the Alto platform in its current version,

- Setup the workspace, test functions and ensure data quality,

- Escalate to local IT BA team or AMT Group BA team in Europe when needed to get support,

- In case a development or a fix needs to be done, in coordination with colleagues in Solution team,

• Organize the follow up / prioritization of issues and enhancement requests,
• Communicate with the users, their business line and the global IT teams (Global IT Platform),
• Communicate with the local vendors (local software interacting with the Alto platform).

  • Compétences recherchées
  • - Knowledge in finance, financial instruments and commonly used analytics,- Clear and synthetic written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with local and foreign teams, mostly based in Europe,- Understand user needs and reformulate them in specifications. Assess cost/benefit of such needs to be able to explain them to committees that will prioritize them,- Be rigorous and tenacious to make sure requests and issues are properly addressed by vendors or European support and development teams,- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
