Mission The Genetics and Developmental Biology unit (UMR3215/U934) at Institut Curie is recruiting a Junior Group Leader to develop an independent, ambitious and innovative research program that complements the unit's scientific expertise. Research conducted within UMR3215/U934 covers a broad range of topics in developmental biology, including stem cells, tissue growth and morphogenesis, epigenetics, genomics, integrated physiology, metabolism and synthetic embryo models. Particular attention will be given to projects aimed at improving the understanding of the mechanisms underlying development, homeostasis and regeneration, using animal models, organoids or other innovative experimental approaches. The successful candidate will join a leading multidisciplinary and international scientific environment within the Institut Curie Research Center and Université PSL. They will benefit from laboratory space to host a team of 6 to 7 people, as well as a competitive start-up package including the initial salary of the Group Leader. Profil Education and knowledge Candidates must hold a PhD and have completed postdoctoral research experience. Required skills Candidates must demonstrate their ability to lead an independent, ambitious and innovative research program that fully integrates into the unit's scientific environment.
