About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow their presence in the French market. This role involves managing and developing their existing customer base while driving new sales across specified product groups. The ideal candidate will possess a strong strategic vision and the ability to achieve ambitious sales targets. Join their team and contribute to their success by leveraging your expertise in sales and market development in one of their key regions. The Role: Drive the growth of sales in the French market by strengthening existing relationships and acquiring new customers. Collaborate with other production sites to maximize the product offering and explore cross-selling opportunities. Expand the product range and enhance the overall product offering. Develop and implement new business development plans. Support the Accounts department with aged debt and financial control. Oversee product development for both new and existing products. Coordinate with internal sales and production teams to address customer needs and manage lead times. Ensure the CRM system is consistently updated and maintained. Introduce and promote all available products, whenever opportunities arise. Person Profile: Proven Sales Experience with +/-5 years of demonstrated success in sales in retail, DIY, and distribution in France. Background in sectors/products related to home improvement, building materials, and interior design (e.g., tiles and stone products, carpeting, wall coverings, flooring, countertops and surfaces, doors and windows, kitchen and bath, lighting, etc.). Fluency in French. Professional proficiency in English. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint. Experience in people management. Strong presentation techniques, effective negotiation, and persuasion skills. Ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver high performance. Competence in investigating, understanding, and resolving issues quickly and efficiently. Capability to implement departmental goals and actively participate in the decision-making process. Ability to take a concept from inception to targeted conclusion. This is a 90% on-the-road position in France and some occasional travel abroad.
