Senior Finance Business Partner H/F/D
Merck
Senior Finance Business Partner role supporting major business units at a pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities include managing monthly reporting, profit planning, forecasting, and providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage monthly reporting, profit planning, and five-year forecasts in coordination with planning and budget control teams
- Monitor sales, expenses, and headcount; analyze variances and prepare performance analyses for business units
- Develop pricing strategies and conduct price-impact analyses with market access teams
- Track and manage promotional spending allocation to support business priorities and control investments
- Lead or contribute to financial process digitalization and automation projects
Requirements
- Master's degree from business school or equivalent
- Several years of FP&A, business partnering, and performance analysis experience
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills in matrix organizations
- Solid accounting principles knowledge and financial data interpretation ability
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations in France preferred
