The registered office of RIGO Trading S.A. is established in the municipality of Niederanven in the EBBC business complex close to the Findel Airport. The company started up only in 2014 and employs currently more than 80 employees. One purpose of the company is the acquisition by purchase, registration, and transfer by sale or exchange of intellectual and industrial property rights. We are looking for a Junior Manager Environmental Social Governance (ESG) with focus on Global Procurement as soon as possible. Working in close cooperation with and supporting our ESG Manager - Global Procurement, you will play an important role in implementing and developing HARIBO's corporate sustainability strategy. Main responsibilities: You will support the implementation of and compliance with regulatory requirements such as the German Supply Chain Duty of Care Act (LkSG) and the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Addtionally, you provide project support for Scope 3-Decarbonisation in the upstream supply chain to contribute to Group-wide GHG reduction. You will need to work closely with our Global Category Buyers daily and will act as a contact for HARIBO's international subsidiaries, working with the relevant specialists in the local departments. The preparation and maintenance of quantitative and qualitative data reports for external disclosure, internal reporting, and committees will also be part of your work. This involves monitoring ESG data using IT-based ESG rating platforms (e.g. EcoVadis) and deriving recommendations for action. In addition, you will monitor compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct and take part in the sustainability audits of our suppliers. Required profile University degree in economics, sustainability management, or a related field of study Ideally 1-2 years of work experience (e.g. internship, academic papers) in the FMCG sector or business consultancy in the area of responsible sourcing or ESG in procurement Strong interest in ESG with a focus on supply chain, carbon footprint, and animal welfare Willingness to continuously learn and implement ESG-related regulatory frameworks and standards such as CSRD/ESRS, LkSG, EUDR, GHG Protocol, SBTi Hands-on mentality and ability to work independently and team-oriented Strong analytical skills with a structured and quality-driven mindset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with intercultural competence, respect, and appreciation for colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and hierarchical levels Solid knowledge of MS Office, SAP or IT-based ESG rating platforms (experience is considered an advantage) Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one additional foreign language is preferred *** Data Protection Information By providing us per Email with your CV and the respective personal information you are permitting RIGO Trading S.A. to access and use the information for recruitment purposes (Art. 6 I lit.b DSGVO).
