Job Description: Wir suchen (Senior) DevOps & QA Engineer (d/m/w) - AI-based Autonomy Hub Um die Zukunft autonomer Systeme zu gestalten, bündelt Airbus seine Stärken in den Bereichen Künstliche Intelligenz und Autonomie. Zu diesem Zweck etablieren wir ein neues, agiles Kompetenz- und Entwicklungszentrum am traditionsreichen Technologiestandort von Tesat in Backnang. In diesem Umfeld, das jahrzehntelange Expertise in der Raumfahrttechnologie mit der Dynamik eines Startups verbindet, entwickeln wir die nächste Generation von KI-gestützten Verteidigungs- und Dual-Use-Anwendungen. Als (Senior) DevOps & QA Engineer sind Sie der entscheidende Wegbereiter für unser gesamtes Entwicklungsteam. Sie bauen nicht nur die hochautomatisierte Cloud-Infrastruktur und CI/CD-Pipelines auf, sondern etablieren auch die Prozesse und Frameworks, die höchste Softwarequalität garantieren. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (& Architektur): Entwurf, Aufbau und Verwaltung unserer souveränen Cloud-Infrastruktur mithilfe von Tools wie Terraform und Ansible (Senior Level: Setzen von Standards für Automatisierung und Sicherheit)
- CI/CD & Automatisierungsstrategie: Konzeption, Aufbau und Optimierung unserer CI/CD-Pipelines (z. B. mit GitHub Actions) für eine vollautomatisierte, reibungslose Build-, Test- und Deployment-Kette
- Holistische Teststrategie & Automatisierung: Implementierung einer ganzheitlichen Teststrategie und Aufbau automatisierter Test-Frameworks (Unit-, Integrations-, E2E-Tests) zur Verankerung einer Quality-First-Kultur
- Monitoring, Zuverlässigkeit & SRE Leadership: Implementierung umfassender Monitoring-Systeme (z. B. mit Prometheus, Grafana) zur proaktiven Überwachung der System-Health und Performance sowie Weiterentwicklung der Best Practices im Bereich Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Security & Compliance by Design: Integration von Sicherheitsscans und Compliance-Checks tief in die Pipeline ("Security-by-Design") als maßgebliche Instanz für Systemsicherheit
- Mentoring & Technical Leadership (Senior Level): Sie fördern andere Ingenieure in Bezug auf Best Practices in der DevOps-/SRE-Kultur, etablieren technische Standards und leiten das Team fachlich an

- Ein Studienabschluss in Informatik oder eines verwandten Fachgebiets (für die Senior-Position idealerweise mit einem Master oder einer Promotion).
- Fundierte (Senior Level: nachweisbare, mehrjährige) Erfahrung als DevOps, Cloud- oder QA-Automatisierungs-Ingenieur
- Vertiefte (Senior Level: fundierte, maßgebliche) Kenntnisse von Cloud-Plattformen (AWS, Google Cloud oder Azure), Container-Technologien (Docker, Kubernetes) und IaC-Tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Solide Kenntnisse (Senior Level: Expertenwissen) gängiger Test-Frameworks (z. B. Cypress, Pytest) und tiefe Vertrautheit im Scripting (z. B. Python, Bash)
- Eine ausgeprägte "Automate everything"-Mentalität, gepaart mit einem unerschütterlichen Engagement für Qualität, Systemverlässlichkeit und Sicherheit
- Senior Level: Erfahrung im Mentoring von Kolleg:innen und beim Etablieren von Best Practices in einer DevOps-/SRE-Kultur
