FR Solution Sales Manager - Videosurveillance

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager   to develop our business and channel for our videosurveillance portfolio. This role will report to the Solution Team Manager and will be based in our Paris office with frequent travel to other regions to meet partners, customers and prospects.
The Solution Team regroups technical experts, pre-sales engineers and solution-focused sales.

 
You will be expected to own and grow sales of our entire surveillance portfolio, which includes IP cameras, NVRs (Network Video Recorders), AI analytics solutions (DVA), PoE switches, visualization stations for camera walls, and will soon include access control devices. We offer a fully-featured VMS (Surveillance Station) and Cloud surveillance platform (Surveillance365).

 
The position will focus mostly on the French and Benelux market, but you will also be expected to assist our other regions (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece) to develop their surveillance sales.

Your mission

• Channel Management : Manage an existing network of partners focused on Videoprotection.
• Channel Development : Develop sales pipelines for our offerings, including recruiting new partners and developing partnerships with other manufacturers.
• Build Partnerships : Build strong relationships with all our partners in France and Benelux through virtual meetings and physical visits to train them and level-up their knowledge.
• End user consulting : Work directly with end users to analyze their needs and provide a comprehensive solution with the assistance of the pre-sales team, and work with channel partners to fulfill this need.
• Project Follow-up : Manage the entire project pipeline with customers, from pre-sales consulting to pricing to deployment recommendations and feedback collection.
• Prospect New Pipelines : Find and prospect new accounts (channel partners and end customers) to grow sales pipeline.
• VIP Customer Management : Own the relationship with our top surveillance accounts.
• Content Management : Own the creation and publication of surveillance-focused content in partnership with the rest of the Solution Team and our Marketing Team.
• Event Participation : Participate in Synology’s events and webinars, and external activities as a representative for our surveillance solutions.
• Reporting and Analysis : Analyze sales figures and create strategic plans to grow sales.
• Other Duties : Perform other duties as assigned.

Your profile

• Education and Experience : BAC+5 and 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management in the videosurveillance industry. Technical experience will also be valued.
• Market and Channel Knowledge: Familiar with the videosurveillance industry, and especially channels (distributors, resellers, system integrators…)
• Technical Knowledge : Strong knowledge of videosurveillance products and solutions, ideally including Synology’s offerings.
• Language Proficiency : Native French and an advanced English level are required.
• Skills: Autonomy and entrepreneurship mindset, strong presentation skills, organizational abilities, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
