As a Production Planning Manager (M/F), you will be responsible for planning all operations for parts and machines on the production lines, with the aim of manufacturing compliant products on time, while optimizing workshop capacity in a Lean spirit.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Communicate production objectives to the workshops;
  • Facilitate operational production meetings;
  • Carry out workload analysis and share information with supervisors in order to optimize team organization and/or subcontracting decisions;
  • Actively participate in strategic Supply Chain decisions and structural load shedding decisions;
  • Control major stockouts in relation to the MRP planner
  • Manage the monitoring of all subcontractors through the set deadline objectives and work closely with the subcontracting purchasing department to guide the choice of subcontractors according to their actual capabilities;
  • Monitor production progress against the planned schedule and take the necessary actions with the various departments to guarantee deadlines are met.
  • Reporting difficulties encountered to Production Managers + Plant Manager with a view to continuous improvement;
  • Confirm client meeting dates with project managers and machine shutdown schedules according to maintenance service needs;
  • Assist project managers according to the various client requests;
  • Build specific Gantt charts according to the complexity of the projects in order to define objectives to be followed operation after operation and to control the progress of production;
  • Communicate with the Master Schedule function on major workshop bottlenecks for business management in the ITO phase.
  • Implement corrective and improvement actions in the service as part of a continuous improvement approach.
  • Manage the priorities of the department's employees according to the different events (Paid Leave / Illness / Temporary Overload / Company Priority and Materials Management Department...).

To succeed in this role, you must:

 

 

  • Hold an engineering degree (mechanical, general, etc.)
  • Having advanced knowledge of the techniques used in the field of Supply Chain
  • Knowing how to coordinate project planning
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for detailed analysis and risk identification in planning
  • Being able to propose solutions to problems or improvements
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Being able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
  • To be rigorous, organized, curious, pragmatic
  • To have a fluent level of English and French
