We are recruiting for a client specialized in offshore wind projects, seeking a Fabrication Site Manager to support the construction of offshore electrical platforms in the Rotterdam area.

What will your missions and responsibilities be?


As part of offshore wind farm grid connection projects, you will represent the client on the fabrication yards located in Schiedam and Stormpolder, Netherlands.


Your main responsibilities will include:


• Representing the client during daily and weekly meetings with the EPCI contractor
• Acting as the interface between the site teams and the project teams based in Paris
• Supervising fabrication, assembly, and commissioning activities for offshore topsides
• Coordinating inspections and quality follow-up according to ITPs, standards, and specifications
• Monitoring HSE, quality, cost, and schedule performance of the contractor
• Managing site teams and external stakeholders operating on the yard
• Identifying and reporting contractual deviations and technical issues
• Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and site access requirements
• Participating in daily, weekly, and monthly fabrication reporting activities
• Coordinating activities involving certification bodies and Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS)

What profile and skills are required for this Fabrication Site Manager position?


• Education
Technical or engineering degree specializing in offshore construction, steel structures, mechanical engineering, industrial fabrication, or construction management.

• Experience
Significant experience managing work activities on industrial yards, shipyards, or offshore construction sites.
Experience on offshore Oil & Gas or renewable energy projects is highly desirable, including steel fabrication, offshore painting and coating activities, offshore substation assembly, and commissioning.

• Skills:

• Team management and operational coordination
• Offshore fabrication and construction supervision
• Knowledge of quality and HSE standards
• Ability to review and follow ITPs and technical specifications
• Project reporting and contract follow-up
• Strong communication and contractor management skills
• Professional English required
• French or Dutch would be considered an advantage
