Process Engineer

Which company will you be a Process Engineer for?


We are recruiting a Process Engineer for one of our clients in the energy sector, based in Nanterre.

Process Engineer: what will your missions and responsibilities be?

• Contribute to defining the rules and criteria for sizing equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Draft technical descriptions of Process, Utilities, and Support units (e.g., Flares and Storage).
• Develop and write Calculation Notes for the definition and sizing of equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Contribute to drafting Process specifications and technical data sheets for equipment and instruments (Process Datasheets - PDS for Equipment and Instruments).
• Contribute to defining the logic of the facility's control and safety systems.
• Contribute to developing detailed engineering and process diagrams (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams - P&ID).
• Contribute to developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
• Contribute to developing Heat and Material Balances (HMB).
• Analyze and review/check documents issued by other Engineering disciplines and by suppliers/vendors.

What profile and skills are required for this Process Engineer position?

• University degree at Master's level (Bac+5) in Process Engineering (Chemical/Process Engineering) and/or Chemical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of the specifics of the Process Engineer role within an engineering design firm.
• Minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in an engineering design office (Process & Design Development). Actual professional experience is required, i.e. excluding internships, work-study programs, or academic coursework.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, ANSI, etc.).
• Familiarity with process calculation and modeling software such as Aspen HYSYS or Aveva PRO/II.
• Proficiency with the Office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
• Good level of English (spoken/read/written).
