RC Services Team - Senior Associate/Assistant Manager - Luxembourg

What You'll Do As a Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager, you'll be the go-to person for our clients when it comes to AML/CTF RC or compliance questions, helping asset managers navigate the complex regulatory landscape. Here's a glimpse into your role: Be the Expert: Assisting the RC's in daily operations, oversee ongoing client activities/tasks and act as the primary point of contact for client services and delivery management on a continuous basis. As you grow into the role, take on the RC role yourself for some liquid or alternative funds. Evaluate & be pragmatic: Review AML/CTF policies and procedures, identify weaknesses, and recommend pragmatic solutions. Implement controls: Executing controls in the RC AML/CTF monitoring plans tailored to each client's needs. Shape Policy: Creating and updating AML/CTF policies, risk appetite statements, own risk assessments. Due Diligence: Dive into investors and investments due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes, ensuring every box is ticked, including sanctions checks and beneficial ownership. Perform AML/CTF due diligence and oversight activities on service providers and delegates. Perform KYC & KYA: Carrying out name screening and adverse media screening for clients and perform KYA activities (by collecting and analysing information, data and documents and maintaining them up-to-date). Develop Training: Create and lead engaging training sessions that bring AML/CTF requirements to life for your clients' teams. Collaborate & Communicate: Build strong relationships with clients, helping them stay compliant and ahead of emerging financial crime risks. About You Experience: You've got at least 3-5 years' experience in financial crime, compliance, or regulatory roles, ideally working within asset management or financial services. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Law or similar. Regulation Know-How: You know AML/CTF rules like the back of your hand, especially Luxembourg's AML law, CSSF circulars, FATF guidelines, and EU directives (4th/5th AMLD). Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex ideas simply and clearly. Communication: Fluent in English and French or German. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to succeed in this role. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools and eager to learn and adapt to new tech that makes AML/CTF processes more efficient. Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
