ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Descartes Underwriting is seeking a Junior Operations Project Analyst to join our Operations Team. You will report to the Operations Project Lead and you will be a key contributor of the deployment Operations team projects. Our Operations Team underpins every aspect of Descartes Underwriting activity ensuring that our business processes run smoothly and efficiently from lead generation all the way to accounting flows and claims payments. With a focus on Salesforce we provide the tools and support that help every team succeed. Joining us means getting handson experience with impactful projects collaborating across departments and being part of a team thats always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You will be in close and effective cooperation with all business units and play a vital role in the following activities:

• Assisting in the management and optimization of business tools particularly Salesforce;
• Supporting the implementation of new processes to streamline operations and maximize team efficiency;
• Creating maintaining and improving dashboards to monitor operational and commercial KPIs;
• Ensuring regular reporting of key performance indicators to relevant stakeholders;
• Collaborating with teams to identify areas for improvement in business processes;
• Acting as the first point of contact for Business Developers addressing their daytoday needs such as reporting dashboards and other operational support;
• Assisting in the onboarding of new Business Developers;
• Staying updated on new technologies and proposing innovative solutions to enhance internal operations.

ABOUT YOU

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from a Business or Engineering school;
• 01 years experience (internships and/or apprenticeship) in operations project or CRM systems;
• Salesforce & CRM knowledge is a plus.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
• Excellent communication (written spoken);
• Professional English (written spoken).
