Baby-sitter - Weekend

Our clients, a formal family of 4 residing in Central Paris, are seeking a long-term Rota Nanny for their two children - an 8-year-old girl and 4 year old boy.

This will be a 2 week on, 2 week off rota role (living in whilst on duty), providing 24/7 to the couple's two children. They are looking for someone who is fun, patient, proactive, and possesses a sunny demeanour, but most importantly has a love of children and their development and education. It is vital that you have prior experience with children of a similar age, and are confident that you will be able to help them grow, develop and aid them with their key milestone and developmental stages. A background in teaching would be a bonus for this family.

The family has a well-established team of domestic staff who you will be joining to ensure the smooth running of their household. Although this role is solely a child related role, with no additional household duties, it is key that you are a team player.

Your role will be solely focused on all general Nanny duties and the wellbeing of the children, along with the following:

• Taking the children to school, picking them up from school
• Taking them to afterschool activities
• Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
• Creating a fun environment
• Keeping their wardrobe in good order
• Encouraging the children to keep their bedrooms and play areas organised, clean & tidy - no housekeeping duties apply
• You will be required to do some cooking for the children when the cook is off, this would include lunch and dinner for the children

Please note that during the school holidays and occasional weekends, the family tend to spend a lot of their time at the country residence, so you would have to be willing to accompany them. It is vital that you can be flexible and fit around the family’s schedule.

It is a MUST that you possess the following:

• Fluent English preferable - French would be a bonus as the family are English & French speaking
• Have prior experience working within a formal/VIP household environment
• Relevant childcare knowledge – ideally within teaching would be a bonus
• Well organised and flexible
• Looking for a long-term position, with previous proven longevity as a Nanny
• Team player
• Glowing references

Contract Length : Permanent

Start Date : April 2021 - the family are interviewing now and are recruiting safely within the COVID-19 regulations

Children : 2 Children; 8-year-old girl & 4 year old boy

Working Days/Hours : 24/7 for your 2 weeks on, then 2 weeks off

Accommodation : Private accommodation with a bedroom and bathroom for your 2 working weeks

Salary : €48,000 net per year (€67,200 gross per year/£60,000 gross per year)
