The team is made up of seasoned investment bankers from a broad variety of backgrounds and international experience including former venture capitalists from the industries which we focus on.We are recruiting a Vice President to support the growing activity of our Healthcare team in our Investment Banking department in Paris.Job description:Bryan, Garnier & Co requires that a Vice President assume high levels of responsibility almost immediately. As the principal client contact in a client engagement, a Vice President coordinates the transaction process, from initial meeting with senior management to working closely with senior professionals to negotiate mandates. This generally involves meeting with CEOs, CFOs and corporate development executives of public and private technology and healthcare companies, preparing and delivering client presentations and managing the execution team and support staff.The position appeals to individuals with hands-on experience in both execution and origination, who seek a challenging opportunity requiring expertise and great reliability.The position will provide unparalleled exposure to senior professionals and the world of investment banking. Tasks involve:· Manage execution and transaction processes· Provide support in deal origination· Ensure timely preparation of presentations, transaction materials and financial analyses· Manage and train associates and analysts· Contribute to the development of our Healthcare franchiseSkills required:The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic track record from a recognized college or university with a degree in Business or Finance: Business Schools (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, Science Po, EM Lyon…), Tier 1 University (Dauphine, Sorbonne, Assas…) and Engineering Schools (Mines, Centrale…). In order for applicants to be considered, a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in investment banking, Private Equity or Transaction Services is required. We are looking for individuals with the following skills:· High level of autonomy in transactions and in client interactions· Knowledge of bio-tech/med-tech industries· Excellent technical competences combined with attention to details· Time management, organizational and prioritization skills· Ability to work under pressure
