Analyst - Strategic Equity Transactions M/F

You will join Credit Agricole CIB Americas as an Analyst for the Strategic Equity Transaction team.

You will join the Strategic Equity Transactions (SET) team which focuses on tailor-made equity financing, equity stake management and treasury share solutions within the firm’s Global Markets Division. SET works in conjunction with the bank’s Coverage Bankers and Equity Capital Markets team to assist a broad range of clients in addressing issues related to listed equities.

Your concrete missi ons will be the following :

• Research on clients, prospects and situations to generate ideas and identify potential opportunities
• Assist with the preparation of client pitches and other marketing materials
• Analyze corporate financial statements
• Support modeling, pricing, economic and credit analysis of potential transactions
• Assist with the preparation of internal approval memos
• Coordinate with New York and Paris based internal stakeholders (incl. SET trading and legal, Coverage Bankers etc.) on certain projects
• Monitor existing transactions

To be eligible for a VIE : 

• Be less than 29 years old
• Be postgraduate of a Master degree
• Be EU citizen

  You are postgraduate of a Master degree from an University or a Business School with a specialization in Finance.
  

  A first experience  in capital markets, derivatives or corporate finance is necessary.

  Hard Skills : 

  • Proven capability to synthesize and present research findings clearly and concisely
  • Strong quantitative background with an eagerness to learn about the derivatives and other structures that drive the SET activity
  • Understanding of capital markets (equities in particular), public companies and corporate finance
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg
  • Fluent French and English. 

  Soft Skills :

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize among high pressure situations and long-term projects, both on an independent basis or as part of a team
  • Self-starter with demonstrated track record of leadership and personal initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong inclination towards sales and/or relationship management
