Overview

Ready to work at the side of our Head of Finance and get real exposure to how a fast-growing scale-up runs its financial operations? As our Finance Operations Intern, you'll be far more than support staff — you'll be a trusted right hand, embedded in billing, collections, and financial reporting, with direct visibility into decisions that shape the business. This role is designed for someone who wants far more than "intern experience" — it's a launchpad into high-level finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the Head of Finance on strategic billing and collections priorities

• Own the monitoring of outstanding receivables and drive cash collection procedures to minimize risk

• Lead the preparation and issuance of customer invoices

• Identify and implement process optimizations to accelerate cash collection

• Manage client follow-up on unpaid invoices and resolve discrepancies with autonomy

• Maintain accurate billing records and keep customer account data audit-ready

• Prepare high-visibility reports, including aging reports and account reconciliations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the finance team on strategic and administrative projects

Skills to succeed

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

• Prior experience (internship, apprenticeship, or academic project) in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Strong grasp of billing and accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken) — you'll work daily in both
