NEOFACTO - IT Business Analyst

I am looking for a Business Analyst for one of our clients in the financial sector in Luxembourg. The profile should be available right now. Missions Business & Functional Analysis Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across the investment fund lifecycle (Order Routing, Settlement, Trailer Fees, Corporate Actions, Custody, Fund Transfer, Regulatory Reporting, and Billing). Lead functional analysis for Fund Distribution processes, ensuring seamless channel integration and optimized execution. Present analysis, requirements, and specifications to both Business stakeholders and IT teams (Development & Architecture). Deliver projects within set timelines and budget constraints. Mentor and guide junior Functional Analysts within project teams. Data Analysis, Governance & Testing (Initial Scope for 3 months / after different) dentify data entities and data points, specify data flows for extraction, routing, and ingestion into a central Data Lakehouse. Define and enforce data governance standards. Inventory data assets and establish end-to-end data lineage and traceability from source to destination using a dedicated tool. Conduct extensive end-to-end and non-regression testing on existing and new data flows (testing represents a significant portion of the initial workload). Profile Strong functional background in investment funds (distribution, dealing operations, and private markets). Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in data analysis and flow specification. Solid track record in test design, end-to-end execution, and non-regression testing. Familiarity with Data Lake / Data Lakehouse principles (Databricks knowledge is a plus). Exposure to data catalog/governance platforms (Atlan is a plus). High level of autonomy, strong interpersonal diplomacy when dealing with challenging stakeholders, and ability to coach team members. Comfort operating in a distributed international context. Immediate availability to start no later than October 1.
